PLEASE UNDERSTAND THIS: this image is over four years old. this is not what scene is anymore. this is not what emo is anymore. this is not even how i feel anymore. i was young and stupid, and the popularity of this image was, i believe, a direct result.
if you must leave a comment correcting me on what "scene/emo" is, keep this in mind. thanks.
ORIGINAL TEXT:
if you don't know what scene/emo is, you can only hope you never find out. for all the rest of you, see how guilty you are of committing the crime of becoming an emo kid. i spit in your direction, loser.
oh yeah, here's a nice handy scale: 0-10 - you're normal. stay away from coffee shops. 11-21 - perhaps that $20 belt from hot topic wasn't such a good investment. but you know that, right? you'll be fine as long as you keep telling everyone Souconys were real ghetto a few years ago. 22-32 - the scene has got a hold of you. please spend at least one weekend away from the friends that write lots of poetry. 33-43 - you've probably burned a "sad mix" for each of your friends and can fit your finger through your earlobe. there is no hope, just stop washing your shirts in hot water. 44-57 - cry me a river, build a bridge, and get over it.
i'm gonna lose so many watchers for this, i just know it. no hard feelings guys, really ^_^

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
